Cheltenham Early Education Centre – Magnolia House
A fresh approach to childhood education and care — designed to build strong foundations for lifelong success. With thoughtfully renovated spaces and a holistic approach to learning and play, we’ve created an environment where children thrive beyond expectations at Magnolia House.
We have been proudly providing premium early childcare to families in NSW for over 25 years, and have three existing centres in Westmead, Northmead and Cheltenham. Magnolia House, the new centre on Beecroft Road in Cheltenham, is located next door to our existing campus, CEEC Tallowwood Place. CEEC Tallowwood Place is an amazing, award-winning centre with an ‘Exceeding’ NQS rating that is well-loved by local families and a great addition to the local community.
The original Inter-War home was built by John Surgeon in 1920, and has been architecturally renovated to create dynamic spaces for learning and play. Magnolia House seamlessly new with old, honouring the original character of the home with restored fireplaces and a beautiful stained glass bay windows. It is an exquisite and nurturing home-like environment for our babies and early learners.
Inspired by the previous owners, Harry Hopman (Harry represented Australia in many Davis Cup matches between 1939 and 1967, and the Hopman Cup was named after him), the outdoor area features a tennis court, aptly named ‘Hopman Court’. At Magnolia House, this space can be used in a multitude of ways, creating an abundant space for court-based activities. The outdoor area also features a potting shed, a sustainable ‘Kitchen Garden’, a woodworking zone and a climbing play area. It’s an inspiring space that really needs to be seen to be believed!

Our service is carefully designed and thought out to support your child’s learning and development every step of the way. At Magnolia House, we’ve built our team around the value of being highly educated and qualified to support children. This means they’re not just following a curriculum; we’re actively applying their knowledge of the intricate processes of how children grow, learn, and develop. We understand the ‘why’ behind the ‘what’ in early education.
Our team have been with us for many years and their dedication shines through everything they do. We’re a community of learners.
