“Why is the water going so slow?” Akash asked a teacher after observing the water moving slowly down our creek bed and sometimes stopping. This led to a variety of experiments to increase the flow of water and testing his theories about the leaves on the creek bed and the congestion under the platform. With the help of his friends and teachers over the following days and weeks, Akash hypothesised and made connections, and explored mathematical concepts such as distance, length and time.
