Homemade Hummus Recipe

Ingredients 

  • 2 cups cooked chickpeas 
  • 1/3 cup tahini 
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil 
  • Fresh lemon juice 
  • 2 garlic cloves  
  • 1/3 cup water 
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt 

Method

  • In aโ€ฏ blender or food processor, place the chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and salt. Blend until very smooth.
  • Adding water as needed to blend and thin out the mixture
  • Once you are happy with your desired consistency, serve in a bowl and dress with extra virgin olive oil and a light sprinkling of paprika.
