Margaret is an experienced Early Childhood Teacher and graduate of the Institute of Early Childhood Studies (now in Macquarie University). Margaret has had over 25 years experience in the management and delivery of early Childhood Programs.
Margaret designed, built and opened Westmead Early Education Centre in 1997 and Northmead Early Education Centre in 2012. Each centre is unique and specifically planned, designed and executed by Margaret using her Early Childhood knowledge, expertise and creativeness. Margaret believes in the importance of the “Early Childhood Environment” and how it plays a crucial role as the “Third Teacher” in young children’s lives. This includes all aspects of the Early Childhood Environment and extends to EC personnel where Margaret helps to ‘hand pick’ all team members.
Margaret is closely involved and monitors all aspects of our Early Education Centres in her role as Manager. She takes this ‘hands on’ approach due to her passion for high quality early childhood education and the enjoyment she gets from working with a dedicated team of early childhood professionals.
Margaret has two sons who are now 15 and 8 years of age who both started their educational journey at Westmead Early Education Centre. Margaret holds a lifelong commitment to the fundamental belief that how you teach and care for a child in their early years will have profound effect on the Adult that they become, and as such holds a lifelong commitment to always providing the highest quality Early Childhood Education to the Children in her care.
